Fiery autumn colours on this hardy shrub.

Given the common name 'The Burning Bush' because in early autumn its small leaves turn into one of the brightest displays of fiery orange before falling to reveal unusual stems.

The stems are shiny brown with cork like wings along its length which gives it its second common name - 'The Winged Spindle'.

A slow growing shrub which flowers greenish single blooms in summer followed by purple berries which split to reveal orange seeds which should be left for the birds only.

Very little pruning required simply remove unwanted or damaged growth.

Supplied as an established shrub approximately 60 cm high.

*Seasonal, localised, night temperatures control autumn leaf colour and subsequent leaf fall of this deciduous shrub.
