Rich velvet coloured blooms.
Mid spring heralds this rhododendrons blooms which are really eye catching. Deep rich velvet in colour with a greeney yellow speckle in the throat. Each bud will form 10 - 15 funnel shaped blooms
Deep green shiny foliage makes this rounded shrub look attractive all year round. Such a good variety it won an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.
Easy to care for simply remove any damaged stems or unwanted growth.
Rhododendrons perform best in acidic soil - if your soil is not naturally ericaceous add Sulphur Soil at the time of planting. Feed with an ericaceous plant food for best results.
Supplied as a 4.5 litre pot grown plant which is approximately 30cm high.
