Description

Bronzed leaved beauty known as the Nine Bark for its peeling bark.

A deciduous clump forming shrub which grows from underground suckers with upright, vertical stems. Rich purple leaves on this form contrast with its flattened clusters of small, cup-shaped, pink-flushed, white flowers in late spring and early summer followed by fruit for the birds that turns from green to red in autumn.

Preferring a sheltered side away from strong cold winds with neutral to acidic soil. Will cope in normal soil providing you feed with an ericaceous feed such as Sulphur Soil.

Supplied as a 2 litre shrub approximately 20cm - 60cm tall x 20cm wide depending on time of purchase.

Contents: 1x 2 litre Pot Grown Plant
