Beautiful and eye-catching variety of Berberis with dark puprle/brown foliage.

This easy to grow and care for Berberis has dark purple/brown leaves on red stems and creates a striking shrub in the border or in a containers. Tiny yellow flowers appear in Spring which are loved by bees and other beneficial insects. The flowers are then followed by orange-red berries giving additonal summer interest.

Simply trim to shape if necessary after flowering, no other pruning is required. Feed twice a year in Spring and Autum using a slow release fertiliser. Plant in full sun or partial shade.
