Montana are quick growing climbers with red\/ bronze  tinged leaves on wiry stems which turn green as the summer progresses. They will quickly scramble over a pergola or along a fence. All they need is some canes and netting or trellis to get them started and they are off. \n\u003cbr\u003eClematis montana are fantastic for providing early pollinators with nectar and shelter in amongst its growth.\n\u003cbr\u003eWhilst being quick to grow they need not be invasive at all. Simply after flowering has finished cut plants back to 30cm above ground where new shoots will form and provide you plenty of new fresh growth.
