Fragrant and floriferous Lavender plant.

Known as the French lavender due to the fact it grows wild in the south of France this species differs from the English lavender in that the flowers are not so highly scented - But what they do give you is a much longer flowering period.
French Lavenders are repeat flowering plants beginning in May and continuing right through to the frosts in autumn.

Whilst they say not quite so hardy as English Lavender..... as long as you can make sure they do not get waterlogged in winter they should be fine. Grow in free draining soil, a raised bed or a container so that the water can get away and you should be fine. I've had French Lavender in my free draining Cambridgeshire Fenland peat soil since the year 2010 and they still produce masses of flowers every year.

Supplied in a 2 litre pot with a total height of approx. 15 to 20 cm.
