Wonderfully unusual structure and stunning shape even in the more modest of gardens, this Salix tree, commonly known as Pussy Willow, will stand out amongst the crowd but won't take over!

The long seasons of interest gets underway in the Spring when silvery grey catkins form which gradually expose tactile fuzzy flowers, you will just want to touch, with yellow anthers (pollen tips), throughout late Spring and Summer. This small tree will be elegantly draped in green foliage turning golden shades throughout Autumn before falling whilst the Salix gathers its energy in preparation for another performance year after year.
