Cistus florentinus (3 Litre)

Paper-like white blooms.

Also known as the Florentine Rock Rose, Cistus florentinus is a fully hardy, compact evergreen shrub that will create a wonderful display in the summer garden each year.

Attractive sage coloured foliage is held on the plant all year but can be barely visible during the months of June and July when the shrub bursts into flower bearing absolutely masses of vibrant white blooms with a golden yellow centre that shines out brightly.

The saucer shaped flowers have a crumpled appearance reminiscent of tissue paper.

Cistus is ideal for a sunny spot in the garden and will happily tolerate poorer soils, coastal locations and is both wind and drought tolerant once established.
