The compact and tidy characteristics of this dwarf Rhododendron make it an ideal addition to any sized garden as it will not take over, only growing to approximately 60cm in height and spread unlike the larger hybrid varieties.
From red buds, masses of beautiful, bell shaped, ruffled, pink flowers with an occasional flash of red, bloom in late April/early May on this stunning Rhododendron as dwarf varieties tend to flower earlier than larger hybrids and other Rhododendrons.
With a low growing habit, Wee Bee is perfect either in a patio pot or in a garden border requiring very little maintenance giving a spectacular display for many years to come. Being at least 3 years old, all of the hard work establishing the plant has been done for you so just sit back and enjoy! The evergreen, dark green foliage creates the perfect backdrop for the flowers and gives all year-round colour.
Rhododendrons grow best is ericaceous soil - if your soil is not naturally acidic add Sulphur Soil when planting. Feed with an ericaceous plant food
