Pileostegia viburnoides - Evergreen Climbing Hydrangea 3 Ltr
Evergreen and self clinging climbing shrub with fragrant flowers in summer.
Preferring a site with free draining soil in winter this shrub has thick, leathery, evergreen leaves with stems that self cling using its aerial roots once given initial support.
Looking fantastic when grown upon a pillar, against a wall or other structural support.
In summer panicles of tiny, star shaped creamy white flowers with a subtle fragrance in late summer. Flowers have an almost fluffy, cloud like appearance.
Commonly known as the evergreen climbing hydrangea for its resemblance to the deciduous Hydrangea petiolaris.
New growth is red tinged fading through to orange and then green.
Prune after flowering, removing flowering stems back to main frame and cut back any long wayward growth.
