Plants may carry bluey black berries after flowering but its is recommended these are left for the birds only.
A slow growing shrub which requires little attention prune any unwanted growth back to the main frame in spring after flowering has finished.
Preferring neutral to acidic soil, so plant in containers in ericaceous compost if in chalky soil areas.
