Ornithogalum Saundersiae 3 x 20+ bulbs

White star shaped flowers held on tall stems.

Also known as the Giant Chincherinchee, Ornithogalum is a lovely and unusual summer flowering bulb.

The tall stems are topped with clusters of white, star shaped flowers with a black centre from June to August.  

Green strap like foliage compliments the flowers which look stunning in the garden and perform well in the vase.  

Ornithogalum prefers a spot in full sun and will come back year after year but will benefit from a mulch for protection in more exposed spots or colder winters.  Plants will grow to approximately 100cm height, 30cm spread.
