This much-loved perennial is an absolute must for a cottage garden themed border.

Tall, strucutral stems bear clusters of lilac purple coloured blooms from June through to September which are an absolute magnet to pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies.

A Plants2Gardens favourite, holding the presitgious RHS Award of Garden Merit, Verbena Bonariensis will flower year after year.

Cut back to the old growth in Spring when new shoots start to above. By leaving the old growth on over Winter this offers the plant some protection as it can be susceptible in particularly cold Winters or exposed spots.
