Rhododendron Nova Zembla (4.5 Litre)
Nova Zembla is an old favourite in the world of Rhododendrons and it is easy to see why, just look at those amazing colour blooms!
This compact variety will grow up to approximately 175cm, larger than Geisha Orange for example, but this doesn't mean it will take over and is still suited to even the smaller gardens and perfect in a planter too (using ericaceous compost).
Renowned for their spectacular flowers, Nova Zembla produces clusters of gorgeous, crimson, trumpet shaped blooms, with darker markings in the throat, every Spring and holds its colour really well which is one of the reasons it has remained popular for so long. This wonderful plant is poised to perform for you this Spring from late May/early June.
Rhododendrons perform best in acidic soil - if your soil is not naturally acidic add Sulphur Soil at the time of planting. For best results feed with an ericaceous plant food
Supplied as a pot grown 4.5 litre plant measuring approx. 30-40cm.
