Home grown runner beans are deliciously tasty and great to grow with children as they grow so quickly.

Self climbing to cane wigwam structure the stems twist around and support themselves as they grow. Once they get near the top of the cane support nip out the stem which will encourage side shoots to form for more stems and more flowers and more beans.

Runner Beans will grow almost anywhere. They don't have to grow up canes. In high wind areas simply plant them and allow to scramble on the floor walking through them pick beans.

These varieties are special because they are the world's first self pollinating Runner Beans. They produce a crop of long stringless beans no matter what the weather. Keep the roots moist when in flower and pick beans regularly which promotes more flowers and more beans.
