Sarcococca Winter Gem with decorative planter

A new hybrid that incorporates the best traits of both parents, this Sarcococca is always up to something during its long season of interest. Also known as 'Sweetbox', this recently introduced hybrid is a perfect addition to any winter garden with red buds bursting into highly scented white flowers in late Winter/early Spring followed by red berries turning black when ripe. Glossy, dark green, larger than normal foliage makes this low maintenance shrub a perfect addition to any garden, a real eye-catcher. Fully hardy and will tolerate shade, this Sarcococca could be the solution to that problem are that doesn't get much sun. Steadily growing to approx. 1.5 metres, therefore not taking over, a simple prune to shape in the Spring, the benefits of having this shrub seem endless.
