Bearing spidery blooms on bare stems in January and Febraury this fully hardy, deciduous shrub truly knows how to cheer up the Winter garden. Flowers are a deep red colour.
In Autumn it comes into its own once again when the green foliage turns vibrant shades of yellow, orange and red.
Growing to around 300cm height and spread it is best planted in a sunny or partially shaded spot. RHS Award of Garden Merit.
