Agapanthus Lapis Lazuli (9cm)
Striking container plant for a sunny location.
Agapanthus Lapis Lazuli is named after the multi tonal deep blue metamorphic rock which is used as precious stone.
Its blue flowers with a deep indigo blue central vein are borne on long strong stems in summer which look stunning planted on their own or alongside contrasting white flowers or silver leaved plants.
A compact plant which does not not have the biggest of flower heads but more than makes up for it in the number of flower heads that it produces giving you a stunning architectural display in summer.
Each flower head looks like a pompon made up from several smaller florets.
A semi evergreen perennial plant which prefers container growing where it flowers best if its roots are restricted.
Plant now for a cracking display next summer.
