Clematis Arabella is a highly floriferous variety of Clematis that puts on a stunning show from July through to September.  Bearing masses of small, deep blue flowers that mature to light blue with time.

Arabella is not a self-clinging variety so is great for scrambling through the back of a border or can be grown up a support with assistance.  Being more compact than other varieties, why not try growing Arabella in large pots and containers using a plant support?

Plant in full sun or part shade for best results.  This type of Clematis should be pruned back in February or March each year to around 30cm above the ground.
