This evergreen shrub bears unique, lantern shaped blooms which are crimson-pink in colour from May to August.
The unusual flowers give rise to its common name of the Lantern Tree, this fabulous shrub holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit due to its outstanding garden performance.
Plants should be planted in partial shade and pruned to shape after flowering.
