Renowned for their spectacular flowers, this Blue Diamond is definitely no exception and with it being a dwarf variety, it means that you don't need a big outdoor space as it will be perfectly happy in a pot on your patio or balcony, using ericaceous compost.
Growing a little larger than our Wee Bee, this Blue Diamond can reach 90-120cm in 5-10 years and will be smothered in masses of purplish-blue, trumpet shaped blooms every Spring. The slightly aromatic, glossy, evergreen leaves provide all year-round interest, with a hint of bronze as they mature.
All of the hard work has been done for you in establishing this wonderful plant and it is poised to perform for you this Spring and with it being a dwarf Rhododendron, it tends to flower earlier than other varieties forming a compact, neat habit. Rhododendrons are best grown in ericaceous soil and fed with ericaceous plant food. If your soil is not naturally acidic add Sulphur Soil to provide the correct conditions for your plant
