As the name suggests, this Mahonia is a much softer variety without the usual prickles you would normally expect.

Bearing fragrant yellow blooms from August through to November it has a long flowering season and the blooms are followed by blue/black berries that make a delicious treat for the birds whilst the flowers are loved by pollinators.
