Phlomis Amazone is a striking and unusual perennial plant that is fully hardy and will create a real spectacle in the garden.

Tall, deep burgundy/purple flower stems bear whorls of blooms spaced along the stems in a soft lilac purple. Flowers appear in July and August. Flower heads are then followed by attractive seed heads that can be left on the plant over winter for a structural display in the border.

Plants reach around 120cm in height and 90cm spread and should be located in a sunny position for best results.
