Rhododendron yakushimanum Fantastica is a Japanese variety which are known for their compact growing nature. They also have deep green leaves with wooly - buff brown - felted undersides.
Several large bell shaped blooms open from a large central bud which are pinky red at the outer edges fading to a white throat.
Ideal for container growing or planting in the border if you have acidic soil this easy care plant requires little to no attention. If your soil is not naturally acidic add Sulphur Soil when planting. Feed with ericaceous plant food for best results.
Supplied as a 4.5 litre pot grown plant which is approximately 30cm high.
