The deep burgundy, almost black cut leaf foliage on this hardy, deciduous shrub is an absolute treat giving the perfect contrast against the lemon scented, pinky white flat panicles of flowers in early Summer. Black Lace just keeps on giving as the flowers are closely followed by small black fruits that can even be used to create a summery beverage. Turning rich red in the Autumn, the leaves will give many months of interest before falling in the Autumn ready to start the performance all over again in the Spring.
Growing to approximately 5 metres in height although a brave prune maybe every other Spring will help to maintain the foliage colour.
Supplied in a 4.5 litre pot with the plant measuring approx. 30cm tall
