A spring flowering shrub with an abundance of golden yellow hanging 'claws' tinged with green from April.
A woody shrub that is hardy in most areas of the UK that thrives in free draining soils and sunny sheltered sites. Hardy to minus 5 degrees C and can be hardier still if its feet are not wet.
Typical tree shaped framework with trailing long leaf stalks carrying up to 40 pairs of small rounded leaves which are kept all year round apart from in the coldest of winters.
Prune sparingly. Only remove frost damaged branches in late spring early summer.
