Dark purple foliage shrub with tubular pink, nectar filled flowers all summer long.

This gorgeous little deciduous shrub has deep purple foliage which is rich in colour and works as a fabulous back-drop to the beautiful pink funnel shaped blooms that appear from May through to August.

The nectar rich flowers act as a magnet to bees and other pollinating insects making it not only a beautiful addition to the garden but a useful one too

Easy to grow and compact nature make this a great plant for containers or borders.

Simply remove any damaged stems or unwanted growth after flowering. Trim the tips of flowered stems and every couple of years cut to ground level some of the thicker stems which will encourage younger stems to develop.
