Melianthus Antonow's Blue (2 x 9cm) Dispatches from 3rd March 2025

Impressive foliage plants that put on a stunning display.

We were blown away when we saw these in trials this year and simply couldn't resist!

Melianthus Antonows Blue has the most stunning foliage in blue green. The large and textured leaves form an almost ball shape on the stem and are simply irresistible to touch. The leaves have a sweet fragrance when crushed too.

In good summers, maroon coloured flowers appear which have a honey like scent, giving this plant its common name of the Honey Bush. After flowering, large papery seeds pods appear.

Plants will grow to around 300cm height and 200cm spread but can be cut back hard every few year to ensure a constant supply of large, healthy foliage.
