Create beautiful and long lasting borders and container displays with this lucky dip collection of established perennial plants.

Perennial plants are a great way of creating long term impact in the garden, being fully hardy, low maintenance and giving many years of performance.

Varieties may include:

Verbena, Geranium, Penstemon, Alstroemeria, Lobelia, Scabious, Lavender, Eryngium, Gaillardia, Echinops

Great for pollinating insects!

What This Plant Brings to Your Garden

A border for pollinators

Many of the varieties, such as scabious, verbena and echinops, pull in bees, butterflies and hoverflies right through the warmer months.

Colour over a long season

The plants are chosen to flower at different points, so the collection keeps a border in colour from early spring through to mid autumn.

Instant border framework

Six established plants give a new border or run of containers an immediate structure, then return to perform again each year with little fuss.

About This Plant

Perennials earn their place by coming back year after year, filling out a little more each spring without the yearly cost of bedding. This lucky dip gathers six established plants from a rotating cast of border staples, among them scabious, verbena, penstemon, geranium and eryngium, chosen for garden performance rather than a single look.

Because the exact mix is a surprise, plant them where they land and let the combination settle over a season or two. Cut the old stems down in late autumn or early spring, lift and divide congested clumps every few years, and a spring mulch keeps them growing strongly.
