Ornamental Cherry Trees

Growing Ornamental Cherries

more tips like this in the Garden Club
  • 1Plant in autumn while the soil is still warm, in sun and free draining ground.
  • 2Prune in midsummer only. Winter cuts invite silver leaf and bacterial canker.
  • 3Mulch every spring but keep it clear of the trunk, which dislikes sitting wet.
