Double Award Winning Geranium Rozanne is a must in every garden!

Not only does this fabulous Geranium hold the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit but also the RHS Award of the Centenary! And it's easy to see why. Large violet blue flowers measuring upto 5cm across with attractive veining and a white centre all summer long and into the autumn. Plants will die back in cooler Autumns but not before putting on a glorious show of coloured foliage. Being a perennial variety plants will re-grow the following Spring.

What This Plant Brings to Your Garden

Plant of the Centenary

Voted the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Centenary in 2013, chosen by public vote from a shortlist of the best plants of the previous hundred years.

Months of bloom

Because the flowers are sterile and set no seed, the plant keeps producing violet-blue blooms from early summer until the first autumn frosts without any deadheading.

Shrugs off drought

Once its roots are down it shrugs off summer heat and dry spells, holding its flowering even through the kind of drought that stalls other border perennials.

About This Plant

In 1989 a chance seedling turned up in the Somerset garden of Donald and Rozanne Waterer, who named it after Mrs Waterer. It carries the blood of two Himalayan cranesbills, Geranium himalayense and G. wallichianum 'Buxton's Variety'. Blooms of Bressingham brought it to gardeners around the turn of the millennium.

Left alone, the trailing stems scramble out and lean through nearby plants, filling gaps in a border. If growth tires or flops by midsummer, shear the whole plant back hard and it responds with fresh leaves and a second flush. Cut the dead top growth away once winter sets in.
