Very unusual variegated Agapanthus.

Neverland is an evergreen, perennial Agapanthus with unusual golden and green variegated, strap like foliage.

Ideally suited to beds and borders or pots and containers, Neverland is a clump forming variety giving bigger and better displays each year.

Producing glorious balls of flowers in a delightful sky blue with a deeper blue rib through the centre of the petal.  Flowering from July through to September

Neverland is a more dwarf form of Agapanthus growing to around 40cm height and spread and is both heat and drought tolerant once established.  May require a little protection in colder winters.

PLEASE NOTE: plants will not flower this year

What This Plant Brings to Your Garden

Gold-streaked foliage

Strappy leaves carry golden and green variegation, giving the clump something to look at long after the sky blue flower heads have faded.

Copes with heat and drought

Once its roots settle, the plant shrugs off dry spells and baking sun, holding up in hot containers where thirstier perennials would wilt.

Compact flowering habit

Sky blue globes sit on a low, tidy clump, so the colour works at the front of a border or in a small patio pot.

About This Plant

Ronald Tidmore spotted this one as a chance seedling in a Texas crop of 'Peter Pan' back in 2003, then named and patented it. The variegated leaves are its signature, brighter in good light, and they stay put through the year rather than dying back.

It earns its keep in pots, where restricted roots seem to push out more flower. Feed through the growing season, then ease off the water in winter and give the crown some shelter, because sodden cold is what sets this variety back.
