Acer negundo Flamingo
Acers are hugely popular ornamental shrubs due to their fantastically showy foliage and Acer Flamingo is certainly no exception!
The variegated pinnate leaves start off pink in spring turning green with white and pink markings in the summer. Clusters of yellow/green flowers appear in spring to compliment the foliage beautifully and enhance the unusual impact this Acer offers.
Growing to approximately 1.5 meters tall in 5 years means this Acer is a perfect architectural shrub for smaller gardens, beds and borders but it would also be perfectly happy in a planter, making a wonderful statement on your patio or balcony. Simply prune to shape and feed twice a year with a slow release fertiliser.
This Acer Flamingo measures approximately 40-50cm in height on receipt
*Note this is a deciduous shrub so will not have leaves in winter
