Acer palmatum Orange Lace (3 Litre)
A stunning, more unusual variety of Acer that makes an ideal specimen for pots and containers on the patio.
Because of its finely cut, delicate looking, tactile foliage, it prefers a sheltered area. Acers prefer to be placed underneath mature trees for dappled shade from wind and shelter from frost and will do equally as well in the border.
The leaves open in spring dark orange and slowly fade to a light green as they age returning through the vibrant shades in autumn before fall to reveal dark brown stems.
I'd plant this variety in amongst blue grasses and fiery flowered gaillardia for a superb display.
Supplied in a 3 litre pot approximately 40-60cm tall.
