Panicles of colour changing blooms - over 100 days of flower!

Little Love is a beautiful addition to the garden - perfect for growing in either beds and borders or pots and containers.

One of the most compact varieties - Little Love only reaches around 80cm in height and 90cm spread.  Low maintenance and easy to grow but with masses of flower power!

Colour changing flowers start a pale apple green before turning to cream and the a soft pink, resulting in multiple tones and colours on the same plant.  A beautiful effect.

Being a paniculata type - Little Love is less thirsty than other types of Hydrangea and is hardy to -30c!

Supplied as 1 x 4.5 Litre shrub

What This Plant Brings to Your Garden

Over 100 days of colour

Panicles open apple green in early summer, ripen to cream and finish soft pink, with all three shades showing on the plant at once.

Made for pots

At around 80cm, this is one of the most compact panicle hydrangeas available, sitting happily in a container on a patio or balcony for years.

Fertile florets feed bees

Among the showy sterile blooms sit small fertile florets that bumblebees and hoverflies work through summer, useful nectar when many shrubs have finished.

About This Plant

Little Love comes from Living Creations, a breeding house in Boskoop, the Dutch town that has raised nursery stock since the fifteenth century. Winter shows a framework of light stems, spring brings fresh green leaves, and by midsummer the whole plant disappears under bloom, needing no deadheading along the way.

Care is minimal. Cut every stem back by roughly half in February or March, always to a healthy pair of buds, and the plant responds with sturdy new shoots that carry the flowers. In dry spells give container plants a deep weekly soak rather than a daily splash.
