The first ever scented hardy Rhododendron!

A 4 year old, large established, hardy, semi-dwarfing evergreen shrub which is low maintenance (like music to our ears!) and will produce 10 trusses, each producing 10 flowers this year and increasing year on year.

Tinkerbird has fabulous jasmine scented blooms with furry evergreen foliage and is content doing its thing.
Being compact and bushy means it is perfectly suited to being planted in an attractive patio pot as the lower flowers will elegantly drape over the edges. Position on your patio or pathway, preferably in partial shade, also gives you the opportunity to appreciate the wonderful jasmine fragrance.

Full care instructions will be included but let us share a few tips to ensure you get the very best from your plant.
We recommend planting Rhododendron Tinkerbird in ericaceous compost or alternatively Sulphur Soil could be added to your multi-purpose compost or your garden soil to achieve a suitable pH level, this is extremely easy to apply just sprinkle on and churn into the soil. Keep soil moist but not wet. Touch soil with your finger tip to see if it required watering.
