The deep green elongated leaves reflect the light around itself and its white starry cluster blooms flowering in summer make a real visual impact and welcoming scent for a trellis or pergola over the front door.
Trachelospermum require a sheltered site away from cold winds in full sun and free draining soil.
Prune annually in spring by removing thin or crowded stems or renovate by chopping down all of its stems by 2 thirds which will encourage new shoots to arise from the base. Top dress with a feed.
