Verbena Bampton has beautiful purple-green foliage and masses of dainty pinky-purple blooms that keep coming throughout the summer months, flowering from June right through to September.
A huge magnet to bees, butteflies and other beneficial insects not only will it brighten up the border but also offers a real haven for wildlife.
Preferring a spot in full sun, Verbena Bampton is a perennial plant so will offer beautiful displays for years to come but is border-line hardy. The best way to care for this plant is to leave the foliage to die back naturally so that is offers some protection to the roots during the colder winter months. Cut back in Spring once new growth can be seen starting to emerge.
