Clematis Montana Pink Perfection is the perfect Clematis to grow if you want to cover a wall or fence quickly and with stunning results.

Pink Perfection bears an abundance of sweetly fragranced pink blooms in May and June and has purple flushed green leaves to add to its appeal.

Plant in full sun or part shade for best results.  A low maintenance variety, Pink Perfection does not require regular pruning - simply prune to shape as required after flowering.

About This Plant

A selection of Clematis montana var. rubens, whose wild parents scramble through woodland edges in the Himalayan foothills, Pink Perfection ranks among the easiest of all garden climbers. Purple flushed young foliage sets off the massed pink blooms, and once flowering ends the plant settles into a fresh green curtain for the rest of the summer.

Care is refreshingly light. As a pruning group one variety it needs no annual cutting regime, just a tidy after the blooms fade if it strays beyond its space. Shade the roots with a slab or low planting, water generously through its first summer, then largely leave it to get on with the job.
