Cornus Empress of China (2 Litre)

A beautiful large shrub for borders.

Empress of China is the best selection of flowering Cornus also known as 'Dogwood'.
It has thick large lobe shaped, sometimes lightly crinkled, glossy evergreen leaves which hang down.

In late spring this showy shrub covers itself with white flowering bracts with a green jewelled centre which stand out like beacons against its green leaves.
Often a small strawberry like berry will appear after flowering which are edible, but probably best left for the birds.

An easy care shrub which requires little maintenance as it slowly grows into a rounded shape.
